Tony Ievoli Completes Coaching Team
Tony Ievoli has completed his first team Coaching Staff by appointing Anthony L. Ferguson as Assistant Manager and Barry Todd as 1st Team Coach. In football, Anthony and Barry played a good standard of football and this is transmitted into the intensity and comprehensive nature of their coaching styles. They have good rapport with the players and have the ability to build highly effective teams.
Between them, they represented , Newham, Redbridge, Waltham Forest, Essex, and London. They went on to play at youth and reserve level for Tottenham, Orient, Luton Town and Watford. They have also represented clubs at semi professional level including
Dagenham & Redbridge, Leyton Pennant, Barkingside and Hornchurch to name a few.
Anthony and Barry have been working together for over 11 years. In coaching terms they have coached in the UK and also in Portugal, Spain, Holland, Belgium, America, Jamaica and more recently in Bangladesh. All of these have led to an improvement in communication and rapport building with players of varying ages and backgrounds.
Together they have won County and National trophies as players and coaches including the Essex Trophy in 2006/7.
Having worked in Football Academies Academies and Schools of Excellence including Tottenham Hotspur, Fulham and Leyton Orient and delivering numerous coaching sessions and workshops, they have seen numerous players placed at professional clubs.
Anthony and Barry also have responsibility for managing and coaching at the Bangladesh Football academy, sponsored by Canary Wharf Group and Emirates.
As qualified coaches and members of the FA Coaches Association, they have represented on coaching forums and national debates.
Anthony and Barry were part of the management team for the final months at Ilford last season and were very influential in changing fortunes of the club in that time.
This season they re-built a strong reserve team at Barking before their resignation in October.
